Professionals and advanced (experienced) amateurs migrate to DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. Software makes the technical aspect of photos almost perfect.

This article addresses digital photography (around for two going on three decades as a serious shift in photographic technology). The traditional plate and film media have steadily faded to the past as digital technology rises to the forefront.
