Toronto. … As sure as autumn leaves do fall, we will host a fall auction. The fall auction is our last annual event each year, wrapping up a series of opportunities to expand the photographica collections of one and all.
This year (as usual) we will host the event at Legion Hall #101 ‘way down in the southwest corner of Toronto – in the far southwest of the village of Long Branch.
This year the auction will be held on November 22nd. There is free parking and admission. The Legion offers tasty food and delicious beverages. For non-drivers, the Hall can be reached by both train and TTC. And all PHSC help is volunteer!
Come out on the late fall afternoon and enjoy the company of friendly like-minded folk. Clint always does a superb job as auctioneer and the lots will spark your interest. A photo slide show of sample lots plus a lot list will be posted when available. You can see each lot in person before the auction proper begins.
Note: The post title is a riff on the famous 1945 song “Autumn Leaves“, the English version is sung here in 1955 by Nat ‘King’ Cole.
