The advertisement for the <a href=\"http:\/\/dougkerr.net\/Pumpkin\/articles\/GE_DW_expsure_meters.pdf\">GE exposure meter<\/a> DW-28 in <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.ca\/books?id=4UgEAAAAMBAJ&amp;printsec=frontcover&amp;source=gbs_ge_summary_r&amp;cad=0#v=onepage&amp;q&amp;f=false\">LIFE (Dec 17, 1945)<\/a> was the third of three ads sent to me the other day by George Dunbar.<\/p>\n<p>In late February I did a series of posts on determining exposure\u00a0for photographic purposes including t<a href=\"http:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/?p=7812\">his one on a selenium cell meter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When I bought my Weston Master III in the late 1950s, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myphotoweb.com\/expmeters\/pages\/gec.htm\">GE model of the day<\/a> (PR-1) was a close runner up.
