Our own Bob Lansdale was the official photographer for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daguerre.org\">Daguerreian Society<\/a> for many years. This edition of their quarterly (29-1) January &#8211; March 2017 has numerous pages in remembrance of Matthew Isenburg (the quarterly&#8217;s distribution is limited to members).<\/p>\n<p>Matt was a founding member of the Daguerreian Society and held the position of President for many years. In 2012 his <a href=\"http:\/\/britishphotohistory.ning.com\/profiles\/blogs\/isenburg-collection-of-early-photography-sells-for-15-million\">massive collection was bought by AMC and moved to Toronto<\/a>. The bulk of the collection was later sold\u00a0to <a href=\"http:\/\/docplayer.net\/17764632-Global-centre-for-excellence-at-the-national-gallery-of-canada.html\">The Canadian Photography Institute<\/a>\u00a0at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. A number of Bob Lansdale&#8217;s photographs and Bob himself appear in this edition of the quarterly as part of the Society&#8217;s remembrance of Matt.<\/p>\n<p>Matt spoke to the PHSC a couple of times.
