My friend George Dunbar dropped me a note late last month about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/08\/28\/movies\/the-race-to-save-the-films-we-love.html?hpw&amp;rref=movies&amp;action=click&amp;pgtype=Homepage&amp;module=well-region&amp;region=bottom-well&amp;WT.nav=bottom-well&amp;_r=1\">this NY Times article with the above title<\/a>. The article discusses a number of movies from the 1930s and their critiques of the time.<\/p>\n<p>The article notes that almost all theatres world wide now show digital copies of films &#8211; even those shot on film!
