Russ Forfar gave me a heads up that Dave Eve died on Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Oakville General Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Dave was a member of the PHSC in the early days. Dave also repaired\u00a0Leica Screw mount cameras and lenses.<\/p>\n<p>I picked up a few Leica accessories from him in 1978-9, notably this beautiful soft brown leather case that fits my Leica M4 so well. While unmarked by any logo, the\u00a0finely constructed case is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerandfrances.com\/subscription\/benser%20soft%20case.html\">Benser<\/a> soft case.<\/p>\n<p>A memorial is planned at a later date and I will post the notice if possible here on our web site.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toronto.
