Toronto<\/strong>. Editor David Bridge dishes up another yummy issue of our email newsletter. The lead article introduces our January speaker Ralph Beaumont who will discuss his book of the historic CPR photographs \u00a0taken\u00a0by Joe Heckman.<\/p>\n

Next is my report on the December Show and Tell meeting with our tradition of a Christmas gift exchange and a silent auction. The meeting started off with a uplifting talk by Anne Harker from the archives at St James on King Street. The cathedral \u00a0received a PHSC award to help offset restoration of two full plate daguerreotypes. \u00a0The December meeting report is followed by George Dunbar’s suggestion of member Before and After<\/em> images (including two example images).<\/p>\n

Louise Freyburger adds more interesting links with her column New Photo \u00a0Links: Items of Photographic Interest. <\/em>This column is always of interest thanks to Louise’s diligent scouring of the internet.<\/p>\n

We wrap up with What’s On, Information Wanted, and a PHSC Dateline. David is looking for a copy of the Windows version of Adobe’s InDesign CS3 so he can more easily exchange files with our Photographic Canadiana<\/em> editor, Bob Lansdale who uses InDesign CS3 on his iMac.<\/p>\n

And in late breaking news, our (PHSC) copies of the massive book Zeiss and Photography<\/em> will arrive here Monday. We hope to have copies on\u00a0display this Wednesday.
