When film\/plates were the way to go, ISO (ASA) ratings on the media were so slow professionals and advanced amateurs used studio lights (or flash) to soften shadows and allow a smaller lens stop.<\/p>\n<p>Kids of today using digital phone cameras and such have no need for the most part since their sensor\/camera&#8217;s lowest ISO rating exceeds the fastest film\/plate ISO of the day. When flash is activated, it often acts as fill-in provided the ambient lighting is strong enough.<\/p>\n<p>Our events are a great place to find studio lights and on or off camera flash guns.
