If you too collect or have an interest in photographica and photographic history but are not a member, we encourage you to join this like minded group of people.<\/p>\n

Membership is both inexpensive and easy – see above and at right under ‘Membership’. For any questions, please send us an email at member@phsc.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The society is powered by volunteer talent. We welcome all contributions to the operation of the PHSC. Contact our president, Clint Hryhorijiw (just call him Clint) at fair@phsc.ca<\/a> to volunteer. This is a productive way to keep your skills sharp and contribute some meaningful volunteer hours.<\/p>\n

The society was formed in late 1974 and has been in operation ever since with meetings, a formal journal, a newsletter, a web and social media presence, fairs, auctions, etc. COVID pushed us into a new era. All publications and announcements \u00a0 are now in pdf format. Meetings are held via ZOOM.<\/p>\n

And since we use ZOOM now, our executive can be more widely dispersed although residence in the GTHA area allows in person participation at events.<\/p>\n
