Old photo collectors often search for very old and very interesting photos. Consider photos shot outdoors (almost necessary for pre early 1900 photos) in the rain to add a lustre and mystery to the photo.<\/p>\n<p>The example at left is too recent to qualify as a &#8216;collectible&#8217; but shows how mundane things like a gas station and cars can be changed by inclement weather.<\/p>\n<p>Our 2026 events offer many options to add to your collection &#8211; or interest in old photos and photographic history.<\/p>\n<p>Our next 2026 event is the popular outdoors &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/ts-also-means-trunk-show\/\">Trunk Sale\/Show<\/a>&#8221; held each July come rain or shine. The date this year is July 12th on the grounds of Legion Hall #101 in southwest Toronto (Long Branch). We usually hold our auctions in hall #101 so the venue will sound familiar to many.<\/p>\n<p>The usual spot for the Trunk Sale is the Trident Hall, but this year the grounds are (or may be) under construction.
