PHSC Estate Auction lot 4 – a 500C Hasselblad with hood, back and 80mm f\/2.8 Zeiss lens<\/p><\/div>\n

Toronto<\/strong>. \u00a0Swede Victor Hasselblad<\/a> was a respected inventor and \u00a0‘birder’. In WW2, his firm was asked to produce cameras for the Swedish Air Force rivalling one made by a German firm. After WW2, he designed a camera that suited his needs – a medium format SLR that initially used Kodak lenses, later shifting to Zeiss glass.<\/p>\n

This camera, the Hasselblad, became a prime camera for professional photographers. In our May 3 auction<\/a>, we will have a few Hasselblad cameras plus a number of Hasselblad lenses, and accessories.<\/p>\n

Here is a great opportunity to add a Hasselblad to your collection, or pick up some lenses and accessories for a Hassy.
