Toronto<\/strong>. My good friend George Dunbar dropped me a letter the other day. Enclosed was an anecdote about Berenice Abbott<\/a>, a famous NYC photographer. I first learned of her impressive photographs as a subscriber to the original “LIFE LIBRARY of PHOTOGRAPHY<\/em>“. This anecdote was in the NY Times<\/a> Sunday, September 8, 2024 column “Metropolitan Diary” as reproduced below.<\/p>\n
