One sector of photography is photographs of the wilderness and its inhabitants. At our <a href=\"https:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/roy-ramsay-outdoor-photography-in-canada-2\/\">January, 2012 <\/a>\u00a0 Toronto meeting, we featured photographer Roy Ramsay and his magazine &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/outdoorphotographycanada.com\/\">Outdoor Photography in Canada<\/a>&#8220;. \u00a0Photos of wild animals and their terrain have been taken for decades. Each year an award is given to a wildlife photographer and their work is placed on display.<\/p>\n<p>This annual exhibition of wildlife photographs in Toronto is often at the ROM. PhotoEd magazine features a wildlife article timed for the ROM display. Part way down this<a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/photoed\/february-3-29?e=24d8185979\"> message from PhotoEd (at \u00a0INBOX EXHIBITION)<\/a> is notice of this year&#8217;s display. It is \u00a0on at the moment at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rom.on.ca\/en\/exhibitions-galleries\/exhibitions\/current-exhibitions?gad_source=1&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiAloavBhBOEiwAbtAJO6BkzN7p5G_gXcJgTOjHpnPP3vTQYDZcwS6fBpOhXSmm1TrKJMRK8BoCRRwQAvD_BwE\">ROM<\/a>. PhotoEd&#8217;s \u00a0message says in part, &#8220;Organized by the Natural History Museum in London, UK, the <em>Wildlife Photographer of the Year<\/em>\u00a0exhibition is <strong>on until May 26.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collectors of photographs may already have images of wildlife. Come out to our events this spring &#8211; you may find even more photos for your collection, plus many cameras and lenses (film and digital) to add to a collection or precious user gear.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and on a final note, today is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wildlifeday.org\/en\">World WildLife Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toronto.
