Thanks to Trish J who diligently searched the LAC site and discovered this photo is NOT King St TORONTO, but King St SAINT JOHN NB!<\/p>\n<p>Trish J writes, &#8220;A photograph of King Street, Saint John NB is mistakenly labelled as King Street, Toronto. \u00a0The article is \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/the-way-we-were-4\/\">The Way We Were<\/a>\u201d from Jan. 20, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I went to the Library Archives of Canada\u2019s website and did a search for King Street, Saint John, NB and this is the 2nd photo that I hit. \u00a0It dates from 1867-1873 and is found in box 55016.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;King Street in Toronto is not hilly and it doesn\u2019t run down to the harbour. \u00a0This mistake had been copied on to Facebook\u2019 vintage Toronto page. \u00a0\u00a0Please publish an errata.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I really appreciate viewers taking the time to email me any errors or corrections to posts.
