Tintype demos 7-9pm Jan 16, 2023<\/p><\/div>\n

Toronto<\/strong>. Horst Herget spoke with us at a \u00a0monthly meeting before COVID-19 hit (September, 2019<\/a>). And I recently received an email from him. In it, Horst writes:<\/p>\n

“January\u2019s ALTERNATIVE PROCESS Social:<\/strong> Tintype demonstrations<\/strong><\/p>\n

“FEATURE: <\/strong>Horst will be demonstrating the wet plate process, from start to finish. His studio will be transformed into an open-air darkroom, allowing those in attendance to appreciate the intricacies of this photographic art.<\/p>\n

“ALTERNATIVE PROCESS SOCIAL \u2013 APS:<\/strong> A get together to talk, ask questions, and share all things relating to alt photographic\u00a0processes. All are welcomed.<\/p>\n

“WHEN<\/strong>: Monday – January 16th<\/sup>, from 7 to 9pm.<\/p>\n

“LOCATION<\/strong>: Daylight Studio @daylight_studio_toronto<\/strong><\/a> in Toronto: 28 Industrial Street (off Laird, south of Eglinton), M4G 1Y9, unit 222. The building is painted white, and the main entrance is located at the EAST end (look for the very large ENTRANCE SIGN on the corner of the building) with free parking available in the lot in front.<\/p>\n
