For example, the June, 1939 Popular Mechanics magazine had a filler article called, &#8220;<em>Two-Minute Photo Printed in Portable Studio<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;<em>studio<\/em>&#8221; in question was a small tripod mounted camera that created round button-sized photos suitable for seasides or other family attractions.
