Our President, Lewko Hryhorijiw, sent me this link from Helen Teager. The photographs are a selection of the work by the German-American photographer, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loc.gov\/pictures\/collection\/agc\/\">Arnold Genthe<\/a>, held in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loc.gov\">Library of Congress<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The photos were taken when Genthe spent a six month period in Japan in 1908. His seminal efforts were written up on May 12, 2016 by Ms\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mymodernmet.com\/author\/kristinemitchell\">Kristine Mitchell<\/a>\u00a0for the <a href=\"https:\/\/mymodernmet.com\">My Modern Met<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toronto.
