The photograph at left was faded and damaged, but I still bought it (cheap) at the Thornhill, Ontario Antique place the end of July, 1976 because it was unusual.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, it was taken out doors and secondly it showed workmen and a work environment. The location and photographer have been lost over time. It looks like a chimney was being built for a &#8216;summer&#8217; kitchen at the back of the house, perhaps replacing the stove pipe jutting out of a window.<\/p>\n<p>The clothing suggests early 1900s for the date.<\/p>\n<p>Note that the post title is a riff on a line from an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnd.com\/living\/liv-columns-blogs\/answer-man\/article30648624.html\">old vaudeville routine<\/a> made most <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Slowly_I_Turned\">popular<\/a> by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MYP1OBZfFK0\">Three Stooges in 1944<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toronto.
