Many of us come from British roots. We often think about the olden days when thinking about &#8216;over home&#8217;. Sadly, nothing rarely stands still. Like here and elsewhere, many old places give way to the new. Historians are constantly battling &#8216;progress&#8217; to save historic buildings\/ruins\/structures.<\/p>\n<p>Some we think deserve saving, others get a casual shrug. Les Jones sent me a link the other day that hit home. On a site called &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/\">BoredPanda<\/a>&#8216; Les discovered an article by <a class=\"author\" title=\"Posts by Hidr?l?y\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/author\/hidreley\">Hidreley<\/a>\u00a0published four months ago called, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/digital-art-englands-lost-historic-mansions-country-houses-then-now-household-quotes\/?afterlogin=savecommentvote\"><em>3D Renders Of England\u2019s Historical Country Mansions And What Replaced Them (7 Pics)<\/em><\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>While not photography related (other than the 3D reference) , all the country mansions and replacements are represented here by photos.<\/p>\n<p>The title of this post is a take off on the play and movie of the same name &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Look_Back_in_Anger\">Look Back in Anger<\/a>.
