A popular camera chain, Henry&#8217;s, began here in Toronto over a century ago.<\/p>\n<p>This May, the chain announced it would be closing a number of stores as it restructured. Then Henry&#8217;s head, Andy Stein, spoke with us back in <a href=\"https:\/\/phsc.ca\/henrys-history.html\">October, 2009<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When the closures were announced, author, photographer, occasional PHSC member (and speaker), <a href=\"https:\/\/torontosun.com\/author\/mike-filey\">Mike Filey<\/a> wrote this column in the <a href=\"https:\/\/torontosun.com\/opinion\/columnists\/the-way-we-were-sharing-photographic-memories-of-henrys-as-camera-shop-closes-some-stores\">Toronto Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I spent many delightful hours in their old store just south of Queen as I changed and augmented my collection at the time.
