Caratun, of the Toronto Past Archive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/victordc\">Victor<\/a> was born and raised in Toronto. He has been a Toronto history enthusiast and an advocate for architectural conservation for many years. Victor is an active member of \u00a0the historical and architectural preservation communities. He is a collector of images and ephemera depicting Toronto\u2019s social history and has been interviewed about \u00a0collecting by the Toronto Star and Space TV. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">&#8220;Over the years his interest has specialized \u00a0in discovering and retelling Toronto\u2019s social history. \u00a0He has presented about Toronto\u2019s social history to collector and historical groups. He is also a historic guide with the Royal Ontario Museum. By profession, Victor is a designated Real Estate Appraiser and a Negotiator for the Ontario Provincial Government acquiring land for capital \u00a0improvements. Current Project: Development of his <a href=\"http:\/\/torontopast.com\/\">Torontopast.com<\/a> website and a \u00a0book about Toronto Social History. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Torontopast\/\">Toronto Past Archive<\/a> is engaged in numerous activities collecting, preserving, curating and showcasing original antique images and ephemera. The Toronto Past Archive retells Toronto&#8217;s Social History through site-specific exhibitions and through social media. The Archive encourages everyone to share their own stories of Toronto\u2019s past.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Come out and join in as we host Victor. Toronto has a very interesting history as we saw at the \u00a0recent presentation (September 2019) by author and photographer <a href=\"https:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/?p=15526\">John McQuarrie<\/a>\u00a0and earlier talks by Mile Filey.
