I opened Wednesday&#8217;s Globe at breakfast and to my delight I found my latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.photonews.ca\">Photo News<\/a>. As I went through the magazine, I realized that the best thing was that every article included useful ideas and tips with professionals sharing the way they made the illustrations in the magazine.<\/p>\n<p>I read \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.peterdulisphotography.com\">Peter Dulis&#8217;s<\/a> article on creating B&amp;W prints carefully and discovered there was more to correct monochrome printing than choosing a button on my printer options. And the choice of printer paper was critical as well. Great article. Great ideas.<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed reading the article by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.viktoriahaackphotography.ca\">Viktoria Haack<\/a> and agree with her that her photograph of the model <a href=\"http:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Photonews-28-4-Winter-2.jpg\">Emily<\/a> taken outdoors in cold weather really emphasizes Emily&#8217;s hair colour.<\/p>\n<p>Even the ads were attractively photographed as shown by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nikon.com\">Nikon&#8217;s<\/a> back cover shot of the <a href=\"http:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Photonews-28-4-Winter-1.jpg\">Z 50<\/a> mirrorless camera and its two zooms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toronto.
