I often think &#8220;Kodak&#8221; when I see a folder (a pocket-sized camera that unfolds a bellows to keep film and lens separated the correct distance) since I was used to my Dad&#8217;s Kodak Brownie Six-20 folder which he used for decades.<\/p>\n<p>At the coming<a href=\"https:\/\/phsc.ca\/camera\/?p=15555\"> estate auction<\/a> on November 17th, one lot has a <a href=\"http:\/\/camera-wiki.org\/wiki\/Zeiss_Ikon\">Zeiss-Ikon folder<\/a> of a rather high end construction. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=w-8MqzyuHV8\">shutter<\/a> is a <a href=\"https:\/\/skgrimes.com\/library\/used-obsolete-discontinued-shutters\/compur\">Compur<\/a> running from a second to a speedy 1\/500th of a second plus a B (bulb) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/doc\/44503560\/Compur-Shutter-Repair-Manual\">setting<\/a>. The lens is a famous f\/3.5 75mm <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tessar\">Tessar<\/a> design. This camera may use the still offered <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/120_film\">120<\/a> roll film (suggested by the lens focal length).<\/p>\n<p>Come on down on the 17th and add this piece of history to your collection!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toronto.
