Toronto<\/strong>. Yesterday in “tools of the trade<\/a><\/em>” I commented on darkroom needs for film. To my delight, Saturday morning’s Globe<\/a> featured an\u00a0article on discovering the virtues of film and chemistry once again. The article by Kate Taylor<\/a> “introduces her son to old-fashioned film-and-chemical photography \u2013 and returns to the slow joy of analog”. <\/em>Along the way the article is illustrated by some Ryerson students shot by J.P. MOCZULSKI and other photos by \u00a0our past speaker<\/a>,\u00a0ROBERT BURLEY (type his last name in our site’s Search<\/em> box on the top right of the page to see a list of references to Robert Burley).<\/p>\n

UPDATE JULY 29, 2018. The original illustration I used violated a copyright held by photographer\u00a0J. P. MOCZULSKI<\/a> of Toronto who later graciously allowed us its use. On my trip west in the summer of 2002, I took my old Leica M4 (the last time it – and film – was used). I went to Black’s for processing and they included a neat index card for each 24 shots.
