Making Kodak Film

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK. November 7, 2010. Do you have fond memories of Kodak film? Verichrome, Super-XX, Tri-X, Kodachrome, Ektachrome and all those other marvellous and magical bits of plastic that recorded your life? Then you will want a copy of Robert Shanebrook’s “Making Kodak Film” an illustrated story of the state-of-art photographic film manufacturing process in the Kodak facilities.

Mr Shanebrook had first hand experience in the manufacture of Kodak film with 35 years at the Eastman Kodak company before retiring in 2003. The book draws on his personal experience plus the expertise of some ninety others including Kodak retirees, current Kodak experts, and others in the film industry. In preparing the book he had full access to Kodak Park in Rochester and the people responsible for manufacturing this most famous line of photographic films.
