SafariJanuary, 1839 not one but TWO photographic processes where announced. I often wonder what Daguerre or Fox Talbot would think today about cameras and digital images.

The comic “Betty” says it nicely – Betty asks her husband “Do today’s students really not know what a camera looks like?”, after a local school goes to lock-down when camera gear is mistaken for guns. Her husband replies “sure … it looks exactly like a phone.”

Member George Dunbar thoughtfully sent me this link to a YouTube video featuring a panel discussion on recent changes in photography. Enjoy.
