I took this photo with
a Leica M4 in mid June 2002.
(I used two old lenses on the trip - an f/3.5 50mm Elmar, and a 28mm Berthiot Angulor).

We began to climb at the Chalet Lake Louise. Part of the trail was covered with snow from avalanches. Quite a change from my quiet garden in Toronto.

Our trip included the Badlands of Alberta, the Rockies, and the Queen Charlotte Islands off BC.
