This issue gives details on our speaker for this month plus a review of Blake Chorley, and his presentation last month on tintypes. President Mark Singer speaks on our 40th anniversary. David Bridge begins a new column, from the past 40 Years, and our latest journal (39-4) is announced.

PHSC Press and it latest book are covered. Louise Freyburger compiles a very useful number of photo links, especially 160 years of the RPS journal for free on line (this is the oldest journal of photography). We remember the late Gerry Loban, our librarian for many years.

The Daguerreian Society calls for papers. Our auction will be held on the 23rd next month. We announce Looking at Canada, our 40th anniversary symposium and Image show, A Bill Belier Memorial Event. And columns like Bob Lansdale’s from the Net are featured.
